Anxious. Tired. Excited.

Hi there :) I've been busy and quite sick so I haven't updated my site despite of the many activities and happenings worth sharing.

First, I had my very first formal and serious interview last saturday March 10. It was for my OJT @ the Department of Foreign Affairs, and how I wish I'll be put in the Office of the Protocol and State Visit. I really really want that office. Also, I still don't know whether I'll have my OJT on April or May, but then again, I wish to be listed on the April batch :)

Back to my interview, I was really happy for I didn't mess up. Surprisingly, nervousness wasn't able to eat me :) I SURVIVED IT. I somehow stutter but I was able to deliver my thoughts well. Maybe because I prepared for it, I even made answers on my mind beforehand. Again, some might say that this is not really an accomplishment, but it is for me :) Really :)

Second, the day after the interview, sunday March 11, I finally accepted the position being offered to me months ago. Yes, (if you've been following my blog) I will be the next Foreign Service Club President. I could still remember how I blogged about attending the first official meeting of the org (that blog), and merely two months from now, I will be the one making orders and calling out for meetings. Yes, I am very much excited but very much scared as well. As I've said, this entails such a great responsibility and I would have to prove to everyone that I deserve this big position.

*I want to make this clear, this is not official yet, not until the position is formally passed on to me.

Third, I had my check up yesterday wednesday March 21. I am feeling a bit dizzy from time to time and I am having a sudden white and blurred vision. However, the doctor said that it was normal, that maybe I just lack sleep and my eyes needs to rest. But he still asked me for a second check up with an ophthalmologist, so I would return there maybe next week. I just hope that I'd get good results. I don't want to wear eyeglasses for heaven's sake! Haha.

*No, maybe I'd want to wear glasses, for a new look :)

Fourth, just today, thursday March 22, we had this sort of tribute to one of our professors. He may not be the kindest and most generous professor in terms of giving grade however, he was able to touch our hearts. He is Amb. Fortunato Oblena, we know very little about him, but what we all know is that he is such a hardworking and responsible professor.

During the last 15 minutes of the class, we asked him to sit down and listen to us. My classmate Jeremiah read the letter in behalf of the class, and just after three-four lines, some of my classmates started to cry. And half-way, Amb. Oblena also started to cry, and the classroom was filled with too much drama. Hihi.   After the "letter-reading" we played the video we shoot, and then we all stood in front and sing. :))) It was a great feeling, I tell you. :)
