Dear Sir Villa,
We could still remember the day we first saw
you. You have probably forgot about it, but three years ago, instead of Dean
Arcilla, you’re the one who welcomed our batch in this university, in our road
to diplomacy.
Most of us not even once became part of your
class. And most of us seniors, with only one semester left, might never really
have that chance. And this is one thing we regard as truly unfortunate on our
part, for we won’t have the chance to hear your remarkable stories and know you
even more.
Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean that we weren’t
entitled to be called as one of your students, because virtually, we are. Even
though we never really became part of your four-corner class discussions, those
short but meaningful conversations you’ve allowed us to have, indeed occupied a
space in our hearts and minds.
Those simple hi’s and hello’s, those simple
taps on our shoulders and those warm handshakes you’ve given us every events,
those things, really, are immensely appreciated.
If there’s one thing that Foreign Service Club
should really be proud of, that would be the truth that we have not just an
able ambassador, not just a brilliant and compassionate professor but also a
very supportive and concern adviser with such a delightful and winsome smile.
Sir Villa, we thank you not just for your
untiring guidance and efforts for the organization but as well as being such a
real inspiration to all of us.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sir Villa and may our dear
Creator bless you always.
Sincerely,
FSC Officers ’12-‘13

Since our Dean was there when I read the letter, he immediately respond to our little "sentiment" that our batch was never under Sir Villa, he assigned him to be our professor for the next semester! Yey! :)

Yay! Good news yan! =D
